Default TWM Itb in LS/VTEC 1.8 whp dyno.

Does anyone have this LS/Vtec setup:

B16A (PR3) P&P
Skunk2 Stage 2 w/Stage 3 Cams
B16B Pistons .25os
LS Block stock rods
DTR Header
TWM ITB's
Making 228whp / 154ft.lb 100octane!

What's the most WHP have H-T members been able to achieve using stock CTR pistons ?

Yeah, your motor it's 2.0L with a GSR Head, 85mm bore x 89mm stroke w/CP strutted pistons & Eagle rods, RS Machine cams, $700 headers, 1mm OS Ferrea valve & tuned *BTW, you have a dyno spike.

This motor it's a 81.25mm bore x 89mm crank a 1.8 untuned.

Zing pow!!!! Play nice fellas..

2 totally different type's of builds guy's, the 1.8 is more a race motor than the 2.0 so the argument can go both ways.
If your going to take a shot at Damian's plot , you should post yours, peak #'s are just #'s

Nah, we don't built expensive tuned 2.0L inconsistent motors that runs 13's & bent valves . The 1.8 that we've tuned runs consistent 12's & 11's with mostly factory parts.

Using Stage 2 intake cams & Stage 3 Exhaust cam. This setup gives us very good low end / Mid range, & also more cam ovelap duration.

Yeah I tried that setup in my motor, but I couldnt run it because of my .5mm over valves.

As far as you using mostly stock parts... you kinda contradicted yourself..
You have honda pistons not stock for that motor, so the correct definition would be factory parts. Aside from your rods and pistons, what else is stock? I guess the twm's are huh, or the PnP head, or how about the dtr header.
I guess the only thing i'll agree with you about in your posts is that it is impressive for a 1.8, but if your going to compare to my motor a nock on me for bending valves and being incositent, then let me throw on some itb's and we can talk. And my car runs consistent 11's if full street trim, has made close to 90 dyno pulls testing different products and as of last night still leaked down 2% ICE COLD.
Your attitude sucks and it evident that you really cant add anything positive to the board with your attacks and rants on others motors. Go away until you can play nice like the rest of the children....

And the title of this post says 1.8whp dyno, so where is it?

Looks like a pretty nice build, and good numbers for the setup. Nice torque...

I used to have PCT's in my old motor and I made 204whp, but I only had a jdm dc header, skunk mani, and stock head. So I guess a vague guess would be that ITB's, a real header, a ported head, can net you somwhere around 20-25whp on a 1.8L... good work.

I made about 231whp but not that much torque, only high 140's range in torque ... this was with a spoon header ...

I can search around for a graph somewhere ... where was your motor peaking hp-wise ?

the car would make more power with skunk2 stage 2 cams. The CR is obviously very low and thee had cant be milled. why did you decided to go with the stage 3 cams

His cr would be around 12.5 or higher with the ctr slugs and a mild mill?

if his head was milled he would have piston/valve contact and i think (so does skunk2) that the stage 3's are really only meant for super high CR. 12.5 is def not super high

dont get me wrong. the car is making awesome power. I am just curious

read the post, he said hes using stage 2 intake and a stage 3 exhaust cam........... and as far as the compression, 12:5.1 and that cam setup should make for a good lookin dyno graph with some pretty good midrange power... cam timing is probably came into play heavily on the dyno huh??

all things aside thats good power for a 1.8 either way

where's the dyno sheet??

good power for a 1.8 ? I think that's pretty damn amazing...

but how much you make on 93 oct ? I'm sure you run some aggressive timing w/ 100.

like i said still a very nice motor with great power.

still i wouldnt be surprised if power was gained from switching to a stage 2 cams
