Skunk2 Stage 2 Cams/Springs/Retainers - B16A2 - Do I need the Valves?

Hi,

I heard that the stock B16A2 valves will get mushroomed after like 400 miles. Is this true?

no you really dont need valves

Would you recomend doing it? I'm thinking of a 8600 redline. Still be fine with stock valves?

Your stock valves will be fine...actually the OEM metal can withstand quite a beating, and with just an 8600 redline, you'll be fine.

i'm puttin gin stg 2 on a gsr head, would it be safe to rev up to 9 gran? i'm also milling my head but not sure how much i should mill it by, any recommendation? How much can stock valve handle?
