So I go to move the gigantic piece of **** car that I like to call the 1990 out to the road because we are sealing the driveway today. I go to start the car and low and behold the battery is dead. So I charge the battery, start the car, shift it to reverse, I hit the gas and the back left wheel wont spin. One more thing to add to the list of **** thats wrong/missing/needs repair on this car.
Point of thread- The back left wheel won't spin. It is stuck. Why? How do I fix it?

Could the e-brake (if it was on) have locked up on only one side? I've heard of them freezing up but don't know about one wheel.
Jack the rear left wheel off of the ground - remove the wheel and tire. LIGHTLY hammer on the caliper and rotor/drum assembly until the brake is released. then wheel and tire back on and move the car....

Most probably that wheel froze. Hell, it happened to me on a 2002 civic.
while standing in front of that wheel, look to the right hand side for the brake cable. Yank it a couple of times and see if that will help. If it does, whatever you do, don't put the e-brake on, it will simply jam in there again.
THen, it is either, you replace the cable, try to lube it, or simply don't use it anymore.

I got more money from the bitch who hit the car than what I bought the car for. It's been hit 6 times so i'm not too worried about taking care of it. Its more of a last resort/winter car.
