Where can I get a Mitsu TD-04H 15G for a good price?
I've been looking all over and I can't seem to find a place that sells this turbo new. Does Greddy sell any of the 92-95 Civic turbo kit components separately? TIA

I was thinking of just using a T-25, but from what I've seen it's too small and seems to cavitate after 5k at only 8 psi.
I thought the TD-04H was close to the size of a T-3, isn't it?

The t-25 can hold 18psi. But it's TINYYYYY!
Are you putting together a custom turbo kit? What engine is this going on?

I was originally going to use a modified 92-95 Civic Greddy kit on my zc, but didn't like the idea of hacking everything except the turbo to get it to fit. The TD-04H 15G looks like a good low boost (6-8psi) street turbo for the dohc zc motor. So I'm planning to put together a kit using the Greddy turbo, custom manifold, zdyne gold, and have a friend make the down pipe and charge piping. Any suggestions are welcome.
The Mitsubishi TD04H 15G is the exact same turbo that's in the 92-95 Civic Greddy kit isn't it? I've noticed a few sites show it as a 15C, is there any difference? What should I expect to pay for a new TD04H 15G if I can find one? TIA

When I used to have an eclipse gsx i ran across a web site by the name of TRE or Team Rip Engineering and they sold every variation of mitsu turbos, they also did some crazy porting. I don't remember the web site but I sure you could find if you do a web search.

the TD04-13G is the stock turbo for a WRX. those have been going for about $350-400. It's not THAT small, when you look at a compressor chart. It IS small, but can amply boost a 2L to 7K at 16psi, so It should definately work for a 1.8L. The turbo kinda lack top end though. The TD04-15G is a little bigger, so you should be cool.

For some reason the 15G - even with it's small size seems to hold 5-10 psi boost to 7k fairly well, with a nice linear power band all the way to red line...when used on the d-series engines. Where as the T-25 will spool up a tad sooner, but will quickly lose flow after about 4.5k. I have no idea why, I guess the 15G just matches well with those engines. The 15G does start to fall on it's face at high rpm if you boost over about 12 psi w/o an intercooler, but I'm not planning to boost that high anyway. This is just my observation from looking at dyno charts and flow maps.
The TD05-14B you mentioned does look like a good (less expensive) alternative to the 15G. They look pretty close to the same size. Thanks for the suggestions.
