Hey all i'm about to trade my 1989 toyota 4runner for a 91 civic and 1400 cash. the civic has 167k miles on it, 4 spd tranny?, and is in great condition. The lady whos selling it says it needs a exhaust to pass inspection and something about a rocker arm. She didnt seem to know to much about the rocker arm. I ran the car through its paces and didnt find anything wrong with it, i didnt hear any strange sounds from the head or anything. I just got rid of a 89 vw jetta gli and it was a deal to good to be true, kid who owned it b4 me rolled back the odometer and i blew the motor 3 weeks later. Sort of trying to be cautious let me know what you guys think of the civic, never owned one but i'd like to get back into the car thing.
