removal of stock rods from pistons
does a machine shop have to press out the pins that connect the rods to the pistons or is something terrrrribly seized up w/ my pistons/rods?
i have a new set of pr3 pistons and wrist pins and the pins just slide in and out freely - i don't get it?

anyone know how the new pistons attach to the rods considering the pins just slide around?

The small end of the rod is heated so there is enough clearance for the pin to be pushed in. When the rod cools the clearance is gone and has a press fit to the pin.
