Want to put Big Brake kit on my 1993 Civic CX.......???
I am wanting to put a big brake kit on my 93 civic CX. But I haven't found anyone that makes a kit. I was talking with someone and they said that I could put 92-95 EX calipers on my car and then just get the kit for the EX?? Can I do this??? Someone help me out
i didnt know the ex was bigger, i would say yes, but im not 100% sure. Wait for someone more knowledgeable to answer
As far as I know all 92-93 civics had the same front brake systems - You may have to pull from a 94 or 95 EX/SI to get larger brakes, or just swap out from a 94-01 Teg - get the whole knuckle assembly so you do not have to bother with hub pullers and such...
And no, you cannot bolt the TEG caliper and rotor to the civic knuckle assembly.

So, If I get the whole Integra knuckle assembly will it bolt right up or would I have to do some modifacations??

bolts right up. I went from stock cx brakes to gsr front brakes. The difference was night and day. I have brembo blank rotors and pbr pads. I still run drum in the rear but I didn't have to change master cylinder or pp valve. My pedal feel is excellant(all the way up top and stiff). Great upgrade
I don't know, exhaust has to be in the top two I would think.
to answer your question though, http://www.Fastbrakes.com They have kit for the front and the back.

Ok, Since it bolts right up, what all do I need?? I found someone that has both spindles, brake calipers, and a arms...for $180.

seems kinda pricey to me. all integra front brakes are the same. I would try local salvage yards if I were you. All you should need is the whole spindle assembly with rotor, caliper and brake lines for both sides.

Go with GSR brakes. you'll need the spindle with the rotor and caliper, and that's basically it. no need to put integra axles.
Now, does anyone know where I can get GSR brake conversion CHEAP!!! I am limited on money right now. Maybe $200 or a little more
Not to jack someone else's thread (and yes I searched), My question is about the eg6 brake swap since I've seen them for a good price. But what USDM Civic or teg can be used for replacement parts, since a parts store isn't going to carry brake parts for a JDM Civic.

Start saving.
$200 will barely buy you 4 new rotors and a set of OEM pads, let alone a complete brake conversion.

Ait you don't need big brake kit beleive me. All you need is 94-95 EX/SI with ABS, EX/SI EK civic, Integra, SIR II front knucle assebly with calipers, maybe rotors. Get the rotors machined if you can or buy new rotors, buy some good brake pads and put that on. You car will stop really quick compared to CX combo. If you want more stoping power get a different master cylinder, and next you can get rear disk brake conversion of integra or above civic.
You don't need big brake kit unless you are running like 16-17" rims on your civic which you are not really suposed to, and you run on the track alot.

Yes you can use them, you can use any 10.2" civic rotors, and you need to use 97 del sol (with b16 in it, fogot the model) brake pads.
