i already searched and found nothing.


i have a 2000 civic hb and i recently put on a SPC front camber kit... and when i hit a bump/pot hole the rear of the camber kit hits the top part of the strut. i talked to the place that sold it to me and they said my car is too low. anybody have problems with the front camber kit hitting?


i was thinkin of just replacing it with Skunk2 and see if it still does it but im trying to make sure it won't happen.

I've had the skunk2's up front for a few years now. Haven't had a single problem with them.

 

Do not get SKUNK2 Camber Kits because they tend to slip from time to time. And yes the hit the top of the strut just like yours. I own a SKUNK2 Camber kit and when I drive over a pot hole relatively fast you can feel and hear a thump. Not everyone experiences this slip. And also the SKUNK2 Camber kit pivot slip ball joint breaks under extreme driving conditions, such as hard cornering, spirited driving and occasional pot holes. Just my 2 cents. If you car is to low raise it up 1/4" to give yourself more space.

raise your car back to stock.

seriously, I'm going to have to say no, when you lower the car you change the geometry of everything. And to get the camber back to zero (or close to it) you have to adjust the geometry of something else...which would be the upper control arm.
