Help with Tranny for GSR
i got my GSR head in a shop right now, at the same time i wanna know and looking forward for a better torque tranny for my GSR head, as you guys know that GSR tranny has only 128tq for its power
is it possible to some high torque tranny that is better then GSR's tranny and fitted into GSR head, like the b20b (133tq's 97-98 CRV) or b20z (146tq's, 98-01 CRV), will those fit? i dont think so
if not posssible is there anyway to tune GSR's tranny torque to its peak with performance parts or advanced timing, ECU, Inigtions, blah blah blah...
anyone got any suggestions would help much..or criticism

I think you don't quite have the idea right.
there's nothing you can do to the tranny to increase the 128tq from the flywheel. Adding a B20B tranny will NOT increase the torque to 133...in fact it will probably DECREASE the effective wheel torque.
The tranny is a fixed mechanical component. Gear ratios are set and do not vary. If you want more torque, you will HAVE to work on the motor (I/H/E, ECU, cams, etc).
Now, you CAN increase the effective wheel torque by going to a new final drive gear, like the JDM ITR 4.78:1 ratio; stock is 4.44:1. The shorter the ratio (higher the number), the more times the engine has to spin to spin the wheels once. This has the effect of multiplying the wheel torque. Of course, you'll rev faster in each gear at a given speed and top speed will be a bit lower. But if you want to modify the tranny for increased wheel torque, gear ratios are the way.
For max wheel torque, the JDM ITR tranny is the most aggressive one out there...of course top speed will be a redline limited 120mph, but you'll accelerate MUCH faster.
