Default will 4cyl springs fit 6 cyl???

i just received some eibach pro kit springs, i opened the box, WRONG PART #
now im wondering if it still might work, i should have got 40410.14, but got 4040.14. the instructions say:1998-2002 Accord 2 & 4 door, 4 cyl, ex,dx,& lx. will they work for my 6 cyl??????

i think they would, but i think the spring rates will be different because the 4cyl and 6cyl weight differently. so your v6 might sit lower then the springs were intended for, because they are meant to lower a 4cyl car, instead of a heavier 6cyl.

yea, i was looking at this post, but wasnt sure, but i do agree with that, i think your best bet might be to call the place you bought them from and have them exchange them for the right product...that **** sounds kinda odd and can surely do damage to you car if they arent made for it.

thats what i was thinkn, but ive been waitn for a week when they should have got here in 2 days. i hope he dont dick me to pay for the shipping. This is the last time i order EBAY

from the part numbers it seems like it could be an understandable mistake, just email the dude and tell him he sent you the wrong ones, thats all...then worst comes to worst, call eibach toll free or whatever and ask them about that ****...

well everytime i emailed the guy i would specify the V6 part #'s, i called eibach about this and they said no way due to the weight difference. Now im praying that he sends out the new ones by tommorow. Cant UPS pick up the wrong box as he drops off the right one??

well just got off the phone with the guy, after callin all morning, he said it could be arranged, all i have to do is have the box ready to go. at first he just wanted to send me the two fronts!!! **** send me the whole set!!!!!!! oh well thats what i get, shitty service is cheap!
