Hey i juss got my 2-dr 96 Accord ex manual 4-cyl.. but its hard finding Info about it... And it sems Not many have it.. is ther esumthing wrong with it... and is it a good car to work with? thx

Theres nothing wrong with the car but theres something wrong with the way you type. Are you some lil kid amazed by BiG and sMalL letters?!?!? Its a nnoying and dont do it or else you'll get no help!

You have a good platform to start off with. What do you want to know about it? I can tell you that its a OBDII Sohc Vtec engine (f22b1, correct me if im wrong can never get it right) and is great for turboing. I dont know what else you want to know so be more specific.

A lot of other info is in the guide for basic Accords up top. Go check it out!

 

haha.. i was typing funny so it would catch your attention.. but i checked the basic accord post but i dont want to know what to do to my car i was just wondering why not many ppl have 96... yes its a f22b1 too.... but i was just wondering why not many seemed to have it.. im just hoping to hear more feedback hopefully well anyone more info .. nothing specific realy jus wondering mostly about its reputation and why theres not much info about it?

What parts are good for 96 accord im getting an aem intake Im not sure to go for short ram or cold air or should i go with another brand how does aem do? any sugestions

 

i just bought a 96 Accord EXR 2 door coupe, 5 speed

runs great
mine is on 15's stock and has 145HP stock i believe
I have an ICEMAN cold air intake (it is suppose to increase HP by 5%)

 

5 gens. have a ton of stuff, and tons of guys have them. Look around a bit, and do some searches to get info on what works. It has been covered a ton.

 

94-97 are 99% the same car...only a few minor asthetic changes made from 95 --&gt; 96........like most japanese cars, they are incredibly reliable, and are relivtivly easy to work with (when compared w/ other modern cars) congrads on the purchase
