hi the setup is
b20 vtec wit gsr head.


i'm running the pwo ecu . also running vtec controller.

everything ia hooked up correctly electronically. double tripled check. i have no

vtec. no engine codes or anythingat all. could it be something in the head that was assembled wrong?

 

VTEC works off of:

1) Oil------------------------check to see if there is enough oil or oil pressure
2) Engine Speed-----------VSS sensor working?
3) Temperature------------Is engine warm?
4) VTEC Selonoid----------Is it working

 

Was the head ever disassembled. You can check the head oil orifice and the intake and exhaust rocker arm oil orifices. They might be clogged. Probably not that but I'm trying to throw everything out there.

Monitor your oil pressure.

Also check your vtec oil screen. That could be clogged as well.
