Default Got a MUGEN lip, now how do I make it stick?

I've got a beautiful lil MUGEN lip sitting here, and I'm wondering what type of adhesive is most recommended to get it onto my EK sedan front bumper, as well as any process I should be aware of.

I tried looking for a topic I saw a few days ago but couldn't find a thing.

Thanks!

Wow, didn't about about using tape. I'll assume you're talking about that really thick, expensive 3M tape... but wouldn't that leave a little gap?

Another question, how many screws should I use, and how far apart?

One screw (or two) on eace end in the fender well, then 3M on the underside where the top wraps onto the bumper.

I wouldn't think that you would need to use double sided tape on a genuine mugen lip?

My SIR lip attached to the bumper cover using metal clips that slide right underneath the bumper cover. It was very tight, very snug, no need for double sided tape.

Double sided tape on a mugen lip = probably a fake mugen lip... or maybe mugen is just not as high quality as i thought they were.

Hope you didn't get ripped off.

If it's Mugen, it should bolt in using the stock holes on the bumper.

Just because you have to use screws and double sided tape that doesn't mean it is a fake Mugen lip (not saying that it is a real one, i have never seen it) but the SiR lip clips to the bottom of the bumper, and the Mugen lip goes on top in the gap in the middle of the bumper therefore there would be no clips

If it's a Mugen lip, it comes with all of the hardware necessary to install it. And it mounts to the factory mounting points under the bumper and near the front tires.

i second that.

anyways, whatever you have, double sided tape should hold it fine with screw on each side of fender liner. since its gonna sit on top of bumper inside the grille that will help out alot.

if not, the 3m should hold in addition to some screws and washers on each end. time to go to home depot! good luck with the lip, and post pics when it's on

Okay, I posted before opening the package thinking it was just the lip inside as a friend of mine got a Type-R lip with no hardware, but then again I'll assume his was a knock-off as he got it for dirt cheap. I looked inside, and it did in fact come with the hardware. Ahh, I love all things MUGEN. I'll post pics soon.

Look at the instructions that are provided with the lip. Plus it comes with hardware.

If you own a sedan or coupe and is interested on getting an authentic Mugen wing and rear valance PM me. *hammer* on me for trying to sell things but I need to get rid of my Civic crap.
