trying to install kill switch, and no, i couldn't find the answer from the serach menu.
i wanna install a kill switch on my 89crx si. and before ppl start b*tching at me for not using the search function, i did and all i need to know is what color is the wire im suppose to splice from the fuel pump. just got the crx with a 2 month old zc in it, hence the trial user. hehe, sold my 240 hatch and decided to go for cheap speed. and btw, this is a great forum. some jerks though who wanna make u feel bad for asking beginner questions.

What color wires are exposed is it black and orange ? If so go for the orange other wise any other one except the black one will work. Actually even the black will work but your better off going for power than killing the ground.

Grounds are just as important as power supplies, With no ground its not going to turn on. Same with the power
basicly any line off of the fuel sender unit (right under rear seat) can be swiched,
it needs all of those lines to function, without them all....no start
Most peole however just route the swich to the power wire.
not flaming your just a friendly suggestion, when you search, check the 'Archived content' button. I did a quick search and came up with a thread that contained this very informative link.

Guy I do know all this info but believe me the body of some of these fuel pumps is metal and ground current can still flow through the pump body to the chassi of the car, hence getting ground and being opperable. what good will it do to kill the ground through the wire if the pump will still be grounded and fully functional!!
Oh, by the way I know this because I've changed a couple of honda fuel pumps and explored the housings and found out the ground wire goes all the way into the tank and is bolted right on to the the housing, not because some told me!
