Default Any known problems w/S2K???

Whats up guys!! My mother passed away last year, and she left me her 2001 s2k in her will.. as of right now i dont plan on modding the car seeing right now i have a 500hp hatch back, and i love getting into the S and all i have to do is sttart it and drive. it is an extremely funn car to drive. I love having rear wheel drive again. Anyway what i was wondering is , are the any common problems that an 01 have been known to have any recalls etc.. any input would be great!!

Off the top of my head...

1. Plastic rear window, not a problem but it sucks when compared to glass
2. Some people, including me, get notchy shifts 1-2 and 2-3. I have yet to do a tranny fluid change which, from what I hear, will clear it up.
3. No passenger door unlock button inside so you have to lean over to unlock it if the car is already running.

For more info go to http://www.s2ki.com, there is a ton of info there.

be careful, the S will bite you in the *** if you get careless. It is NOT forgiving and will suddenly oversteer. NEVER EVER EVER lift off the gas in a turn.

That goes for pretty much any RWD car. You also have to be extra careful in the rain and snow with the stock potenza so-2's.

I don't see how lift throttle oversteer has anything to do with drivetrain layout. Your probably thinking of power on oversteer.
