Bought these last year.. amazing peices ! Made by Gathers.

those go for a bundle of cash....i havent seen a set go for under 175.00, if you find them jump on them cuz you might not see them again....and as far as i know they are discontinued, the gathers website is japanese only so i cant even tell what the hell is goin on there either for any sort of part number or anything

By the looks of them, they give the "pressure kick" that a midbass driver should give you in a car , just like speaker pods or kick panel pods.
remember, a speaker needs a sealed enclosure to sound great !

but i thought you shouldnt have any mids in the back, you only need your lows in the rear of the car and mids/highs up front...

rear speakers are known as "rear fill" just add more volume to the sound.

no, i mean in everday life, not just competitions...this is what i was told...something to do with sound placement and how your ear is...

I should get these from japan for 10 bucks and put them on ebay I guess...

anyway: do you guys have the speaker holes in the side panels? In the JDM and EDM crx with the rear seat, there are special holes next to the upright part of the back seat...

That's where you mount these things (basically 'over' the rear wheel wells)

Just a Q, I don't know much about the USDM rear compartment...

The same compartment exists on the USDM Spec also...it just usually has the stock brackets installed.
