Default MY HOME MADE TURBO LUDE PROJECT LOTS OF PICS!!!

my frist turbo install. done with a dremel and a socket set.

1998 Prelude
T3-60 Turbo
SS AutoCrap
Knockoff BOV
Knockoff Tial WG
Custom charge pipes (polished 304 steel + radiator hose)
31x6x2.5 FMIC (http://www.johnnyracecar.com)
SAFC
Greddy Auto Timer
DSM 450s

If i forgot some **** my bad, you will survive.












My car is currently at New Generation Racing in fredericksburg, VA getting an exaust + wg dump + tune.

all questions, comments, flames welcome. ill have a dyno sheet shortly.

I love the oil return... JB weld is the ****!!! same **** on my car... nobody knows how to braze the metal around here so I had to improvise with a quickness.... well me and my buddy don't

i drilled the hole a little big and put a nut on the inside of the pan.. jb'd the hell outa both sides. if it leaks.. well.. it wont leak

I've had my oil return fitting JB welded for 1.5 years... not even the slightest leak or sign of wear.. JB weld &gt; you

I bet he is, personally Id have soemone weld a fitting on the pan .. whats an extra 50 bucks when you spent close to 2,000

even if it is crappy (not my experience, seems to be popular opinion tho) that ss mani is sure purrrrrty!

Looks good, but you might want to think about using some solid intercooler piping from the turbo to the intercooler. A U bend from jcwhitney would probably take care of that.

Man the good old JB weld......I wouldn't have done that but then again your not me.

Just a suggestion for future upgrade, you might want to consider getting another oil pan and getting a fitting welded instead of having JB weld it.

It looks to me like your Oil pan is aluminum so get an aluminum -10AN fitting and get it welded.

yeah when i get some more cash its probably the first thing im going to change. even though it will most likely hold up fine, its still gonna make me nervous

lolz...What i did was weld my pan the best I can....Just to hold the fitting on... (CLunky welds..) then I grinded it down.... Then JB weld to fill in the pot holes.. -
