Had the kuhmo ecsta's and they were allright, but I hear they wear quick. I didnt have them long enough to find out. Check the Yokohama Avid's. They are pretty good priced as well on tire rack. I just picked some up and love them. No road noise and great in rain.

I have had my kum ho's for about 12,000 miles and they are already almost to the wear markers

given I drive a little more aggressively than most people do, but they still should not have worn as fast

I vote Azenis all day long, just don't drive like an *** in the rain

Bridgestone Pole Position SO3's - or Avids (outstanding Duropean high performance)

Or go with Dunlop SP Sport A2's, or SP 8000's or SP 9000's

Dunlop SP 8000's are really good tires in the rain and dry

I voted Azenis, then saw you were in Jersey. Get a different set of wheels/tires for the winter if you decide to go with Azenis.

If these are strictly for daily driving get some Toyo Proxes 4's (NOT FZ4's...just the 4's).

like you said some people like them and some dont...for daily driving and also a little hard driving with good alignment, toe, and camber, i love my kumho ecstas. they have lasted for soooo long and are pretty grippy tires. i have 195/50 on my gsr fat fives...i got them because they were cheap, and i was told by a few people they are very good in the rain (of which they are). just my .02

What are you going to be using these tires for? Just summer or year round? I had Kumho 712's and I felt they wore down a bit fast. I'm going to buying Yokohama AVS ES100 next and see how those are, heard some mixed reviews but it seems like they're a comparable tire to the 712's. The azenis are good tire for autox but would wear down too fast from daily driving from what I've heard. Another thing to think about is that these three tires I just listed are all for summer only and you would need to put a different set of tires on for winter months.

to give you a good reccomendation on tires we really need to know exactly what you will be using the car for

I have the azenis sports and I love them but they are not a drag racing tire and def not a daily driving tire (rain sucks)

ok to give you an idea, i am going to be uusing in all seasons. I am looking for a great ride comfort, i dont like road noise and little long lasting. If they last 40k or 50k I am ok with that. but i basically want to have confortable and quite ride with good control. let me know if u know any.

I had Bridgestone Potenza RE950 on my Accord once. I liked them. They had good grip in the wet and the dry and wern't that bad in the winter. Don't know what other people thought about them but I liked them.

my friend got alittle over 46K on his azenis. he has a 95 gsr daily driven with some autox and mountain passes.

40-50k on azenis is possible.

bridgestone s0-3 i like but comes with a price. yomohama avs es100 are nice and very good for the price. need to try out kumho mx next.

if your stock tire size is 185-65-15 you will need to use 205-55-15 if you want 205's.

Plus, at the time I got my tires, I could not find a better deal than Tirerack on my 712's. Just my $.02.

i paid the money for michelin pilots, 195/60 r15, great traction wet or dry, and they lasted long enough for my agressive driving. i believe they are about 100 bucks a tire, through discount tire. But well worth it, i've had the kumho 712s, they are worth the money, but every 12k or so replace them..

If it snows/ices 1-3 days a year, then you can suffer through the azenis at that time. any more than that, I strongly recommend you get a set of steelies and tires better suited for those conditions.
