Default taking out STEREO DECK of SiR(stock)

how do you take out the stock deck of a civic sir?

In a 99-00 it is a pain. If i remember right... first there are the lower screws... there is one b the steering wheel and one by the glove box... there might be more... i don't remember.... then the enitre center console unscrews from the bottom (i think 2 screws)... after that is out, unhook all the plugs on the temp controls. After the unit is out, unscrew the screws that hold the side rails that hold the radio to the faceof the center console.... after that... just reverse it... sorry if i missed anything.... just look around... i can't remember for sure because i did mine over a year ago

with directions it isn't, lol... when i didn mine i was about to rip off the dash... but then again i didn't have directions and i am impatient

there are two screws which hold the head unit in just to let you know

thats what took us so long to figure out in my friends car

in my hatch the boy before me removed the oem head unit screws so it pulled right out
