Well I have a Del Sol and for some reason, when I choose defrost, the air continues to blow out of the front vents instead of the top one. I'm just wondering if you can tell me where to start looking. I'm not too sure how the air system works.

Is it possibly the switch on the control? It seems to work with the other air settings just not defrost.

Is there something that controls the airflow that might have gone bad?

Anyway I'd really appreciate any help on this, I went through a barb wire fence and landed on a fallen tree a week ago because I thought I could drive at 1 AM with windshield halfway fogged up. I'll post some pictures of my incident later.
