Default Differences between Si and HF harness

Yes, did a search, but you cant search 2 letter terms.

Does anyone know exactly what is different between these two harnesses.

the origional harness is not an option here, as the guy gave away the origional motor and harness.

you will have to re-pin the shock tower harnesses to match the ecu harness.

the HF wires are the same as the SI except they are pinned differently.

Any helpful pin out web sites that could save some time here?? Can do it with a multimeter, ecu pinout, a case of beer, and a **** load of time.

The HF harness has a plug for EGR valve and the Si has a plug for FICV and they are pinned differently at the pass shock tower.

But that would not cause the "No Spark" problem. thinking I need to check the ecu to Distributor connection.

Does anyone have the Distributor pinout, either by function or ecu location??

Got it started last night. Let me say, THERE ARE SOME MAJOR DIFFERENCES!!!!. Even though everything plugs up and colors look right, there not. I am going to take pics and document everything for future use. I'll post in the FAQ section when done.

Right off hand, The large white wire at the dist. that supplies power to the ignitor, traces back to the pass. shock tower in the SI engine harness, but on the HF chassis, that wire is in the plug on the drivers side next to the resistor box. IAC is located else where as temp sending unit, and IAT. Tracing those down tonight.

The HF chassis is pinned differently. If thats how you want to look at it.

Other things I noticed, injectors are pinned different. Distributor is all correct except for the wire mentioned above.
