How reliable are the CVT transmissions on Civics
Friend of mine is looking at a 2000 coupe with a CVT and 50K miles - are they as reliable as honda's regular automatics?

I haven't seen any come in the dealership with any problems but they are kinda rare and i'm sure would not take good to any performance mods.
