Everyone sweats the silver w'JDM front...why? it just looks like a damn Accord.
PY is the best color because the R is a loud, raucous car, like a Ferrari. The yellow suits the car's personality to a T, even better than Red.

DV- who owns an NBP R, but loves the CW as it is the original...

Yes, but not at a distance. The '01 colour has more "pearl" in it.

I've also noticed a touch of red flake mixed in with the blue in the FBP, whereas the NBP only has blue flake...

but for stealth purposes, i would say fbp or nbp! also black doesnt stand out as much as yellow..i would say it wouldnt get as much attention especially from the cop's!! cw,py,fbp,nbp,red there all good

i bought an R because it came in yellow and the timing was right, but now i've grown to like all the colors, esp. white. yellow is such a signature hue for a car like this, that i agree with ross above that it suits the personality-fu** the cops and attention, why buy an R are if you're afraid?-just be responsible and smart....anyway, regardless of color, there is always something endearing and exclusive if its a real R, no matter what color-even custom

PY is also the only color that is exclusive to the Type R. There are plenty of non-Type R Integras in white and black.

As if that weren't annoying enough, the only other cars on the road in a similar color are Hyundais.
