Can I get it done with 375 in a dx hatch?

375 aint gonna cut it. the guys running the 10's are usually at least in the 500+ range

I think if only took 375, there would be a lot more HTers in the 10s than there are.

when did he ever hint that he was gonna use the d15? All he said was 375 hp in a dx hatch.

It's going to take about 500 whp to do it in a hatch... Less hp with weight reduction.

400whp in a properly setup cx/vx hatch will do it if you can drive...Theres guys going 11.2-11.5 with 320-375. People don't realize its ALOT easier to make big numbers than it is to use them iin a honda. You need about a 130mph trap to run 10's. a 2200lb car with 400whp will trap right around there.

if your 1,800'lbs with you in the car it may can be done , other then that you need 440-460whp with a smaller turbo to get a good power to run mid to high 10's

Thanks guys. It looks like I'll be ordering a NOS kit also. I just don't think I can get 425hp from a stock bore b16 and a t3t4 48ar 50.

To answer your question, yes, I believe it could be done with 375 whp in a 2100-2300 pound car...Also many people are in such a big hurry to make the big horsepower #s, they forget to properly set up the suspension for drag racing...To give you an example, my car is a full weight 92 dx h/b, making 300 whp at best when I ran 11.7...This was pulling mid to high 1.7 60 fts...If I were to properly set the car up for drag racing, my 60 fts would be even better resulting in a better et with the same amount of horsepower...Drop a little weight, along with 75 more whp, and I think high 10s would be no problem...Also, you do not need 130 plus mph trap speeds to go 10s...Like I said, the car needs to be set up for a dragging...People on here before have went in the 10s with less than 400whp, and trap speeds around 125 mph....Just my .02

If there was a 10 second FWD car on drag radials EVERYONE would be talking about it.

A little off topic here, but I'm curious what turbo you're using in your R pete?

I think it is possible with a good properly set up suspension and some good driving.

All these 500whp+ cars I have seen videos and they are fast but alot "not all" are blowing the tires off on the kick?
