doh.... :-/ i need new assemblies for my 4th gen civic cause mine are all chewed up on the inside (previous owners were stupid) and i'm not sure what i'm going to do... ok let me ask this..

between the hatchback version and the CRX version what set of tail assemblies would require less molding and body work for them to fit? (or.... are they just to darn different)

Just find a set on ebay or on a junkyard search site like http://www.car-part.com

Good Luck Dont bother with the molding too much money and time for something thats not gonna look right anyway.

when they usaullay say that the 4th gens are that same, they are basically talking about engine/tranny components, wiring, and a few interior parts that they share.
There are a MILLION 4drs (there were about 8-9 yesterday) here at the main junkyard that I go to. If there is anything that you need let me know.

there are only a few differances between the 88-91 CRX and civic hb. one is the rex has a right side mirror. the crx has a different hatchback, and different dash with a tach.

Hatchbacks had the side mirror and tach as well. It depends on what trim level the hatch is. I believe only the STD/CX didn't have the side mirror. Hatch's also had a tach. I know si's had them and many dx's did too.

On the hatch?? any civic 3 dr taillights...get the red center garnish if you can find it. It looks better than the black on and gives your *** end a cleaner look.

Wait your a girl so that might not of sounded right about YOUR *** END.. LoL

the way they bolt in is different and the thickness of the taillights themselves.....

Nice correction
The std models didnt come with a passenger side mirror and most dx's did along with the si's. Si's definately came with a tach and some dx's.
