SEHC Round 4 is almost upon us and we are working to make it a big one. Some WCHC guys will be around, OPM should be bringing some fast cars, it looks like we will have a decent H3 and H5 turn out, and <u>we will have a standing start</u>.

Please post here if you are planning to come out.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please pre-register. If we can get a good turn our pre-registered by Aug 1, there is a good chance we will have our own race group. Links to registration are on the SEHC page. Hope to see every1 there.

Ad Valorem sucks when you have 3 cars to register. Not to mention a bunch of other big ticket $ items are on the near horizon.
Unless I free up some cash (read: win a lotto somewhere) before Aug. 1, it looks like H5 won't be represented.

I still have a credit with the SE division and am hoping to make RA but I don't want to commit until after VIR.

Looking forward to tackling the legend of Road Atlanta in Aug. with Lyonel and Karl in H4.

I remember watching the Jaguars and Porsche 962's get airborne under the bridge (old track configuration) at over 200 mph.

WTF! A little airborne...Perhaps. 200 mph under the bridge and they would have landed in Lake Hartwell!

Was it Davy Jones' F1 powered Jag or one of Gurney's Toyotas that set the (old config) course record at something like 1:07? They were hitting around 200 in the dip, hard on the binders before #11, and maybe 135 - 140 through #11 and about 150 exiting #12. Wicked fast .
