What valve lash are you using with your SOHC aftermarket cam?

What valve lash are you using with your SOHC aftermarket cam?
I used the smallest of the factory spec (.007in .009ex) for my exospeed stage 2 cam, now my idle is **** and my powerband has major major holes in it. I'm wondering what valve lash settings you are using with your aftermaket SOHC camshaft?

i believe that i used approximately .006in and .007ex...thats with a delta 260 cam.
if i remember right, ive heard that it likes a bit more timing advance with tighter lash...or vice versa. but a degree of timing wouldnt cause problems... ?

hmmm,
holes in your powerband sound like something aside from valve lash.
thats the one bonus of NON regrinds.. I dont hear this type of thing that much.
BUT its not like I go around hunting for wierd cam stories either.. heh.
