Default H22 Hotshot leak

i dont know if im the only one who is experiencing this but it annoys the hell out of me. i was thinking of welding it but if i did it wouldnt come off bc the collector gets in the way of the oil pan. then i was thinking of puttin alittle JB weld there but it would look like crap but i guess it works and could come off. U guys got any ideas??

Instead of using the stock stud and nut that connects the header to the head, go to your local hardware store and get a bolt instead. That way when u weld the header, it will be much easier to remove the header.

well with my header i put the first half on the head then lined up all 4 pipes and slide in the ones that fit then it should be easy to get the other ones together. once all 4 pipes are connected i got a jack and and a piece of wood with carpet on it and jacked up the 2 part of the header and it works pretty nice. the bolt that they give you is not long enough so ur gonna have to take a trip to the hardware store, about 3 1/2" bolt . Oh yeah and dont think its not gonna fly off cuz it will when ur in first gear and floor it and once vtec kicks it will fly off!!!!

Mine was really off, it took about 3 people and a couple of pipes to have the top and bottom part lined up, then i just bought a couple of bolts to tight up the header

not to be a dick, but the reasons you guys have all this drama with hotshot headers, is because they are junk.

If you want the most hp, the most tq, the best fitment, the best quality, buy a hytech. and before you say its too expensive, remember, you get what you pay for.
