Default 99 V-6 Accord, Low flow EGR issue...

My check engine lite came on: gave a "low flow" egr valve error. I have 91K miles on it now, but the EGR valve was already replaced at 65K.

Should I bolt on a new egr valve (cheap option) or have egr pipe kit installed per the "99-085 service bulletin" where the intake manifold is removed & everything is flushed, egr port is drilled, pipe inserted etc ??

In the case of plan B: can this be done with regular tools, or do I need to order the $72 pipe installation kit?? Please help

Have the pipe kit installed. If it already had a new valve put on it the port is probably plugged. A dealership usually only charges 1.5-2 hours to do it. If you are not mechanically inclined it would be worth the money to have a shop do it.
