Just get an intake or save your wallet from getting spooned and get a k&n or something. I don't see a filter making much difference anyway, except the ability to clean and re-use it. I'll sell you the apc short ram that was on my teg when I bought it if you want an inexpensive intake.

just get a K&N drop in. no one will see it anyways and it performs the same if not better.

You are supposed to REPLACE that filter every 5k miles if I remember correctly. That is the reason I didn't get one. Go with the k&n, re-usable and costs a lot less.

Clean it maybe every 5k but I never heard you had to replace it.

It's made by Monster filter from what I remember, just yella instead of red.

Not really worth it imo.

Get the J's. I've ordered one and it'll be on by next week. I beat this subject to death when I was in the market for an intake. Basically #1. Mugen, #2. J's #3. Comptech Icebox. Not in that order. K&N is your BEST choice for a drop in filter(bang for buck) but as far as intakes go look into those three. Peace

Basically the Comptech Icebox is the middle man for cold air/throttle response/gains all across the powerband. J's gives super throttle response, good midrange but isnt a cold air system. The J's with cold air ducting would be a great setup. Mugen is the best with great throttle response, best gains, best quality but triple the price of everything else.
