does anyone know if an egr valve for a 91 crx(w/dx 1.5L) is the same as a egr valve for a 91 civic (w/1.6l si) engine.

mines shot. and i have a buddy with an extra. but its for a 1.6l . can i make this work for my 1.5dx?

anyone know? i sure hope it would work.

Si 1.6 engine doesn't have an EGR.


HF's had EGR's. According to the service manual, Civic DX's and LX's with automatic trannies in California had them as well.

I have an EGR for sale if you are interested.
Came from my LX sedan that had an auto and 1.5.

I thought all fuel injected gasoiline engines had egr valves. You should see it the one off the 1.6L fits. If it does I bet it will work.

Nope. They don't.

 

mines fuel injected so it might have one.

however the other guy says they dont have one. i havent look the egr to see if it looks the same yet. so ill check it out, and see what happens.
