Hey Guys, I've been doing some research on different pads to go with my brembo OEM replacements. My question is this, after looking on the net, it seems like the accords have 2 diff. types of calipers. There seems to be a Akebono Front Caliper, and then there is a Nissin Front Caliper. I also replaced my calipers last year with good Ohio Caliper OEM replacements also. Any help would be great...

just look under your year for specifics, but a popular brake upgrade is to use legned calipers (2 piston if you can get them) and rotors. this is a ghetto "big brake kit." a few people who have done it say it is simple great.

Wow do we have some similar mods or what..... I also have some Ohio Calipers. I had the Akebono kind, but im sure the Ohio calipers are just rebuilt OEM ones so check the caliper to find out.

He already has some rebuilt accord calipers, so i doubt he'll want to spend more $$$ on some calipers, for a daily driver stock calipers are more than enough. I personally have some Hawk HPS, but i hear the Axxis ultimates are very nice.

Look at the caliper, if it says NISSIN then u need nissin type pads. if it doesnt say that then you have akebono.
