Default skunk2 intake manifold

Would a Skunk2 IM still make performance gains with a stock TB? I thought it would, but a friend told me it wouldn't be worth the money.

yes it will.
you need something in conjunction with the manifold though for it to be worth it. like better cams and exhaust.

I have an exhaust already and was planning on ordering a JDM 4-1 header at the same time as the IM, are cams a required part to go with the IM, because I really dont have the money for that.

Cams aren't required to make more power, however they would help. The header is a wise idea though.

Your going to lose low end torque but you'll gain up top where it matters. However, without cams you really aren't going to notice anything. Atleast snag some ITR/CTR/Skunk2 Stage 1 cams if you want to notice a difference. You can get some 00-01 ITR cams for around 300-350, search the classifieds. This way here your not spending your money on something that your going to be dissapointed with.

Don't forget a VAFC is crucial.
