HI,
Ok, so as you all know - my integra was stolen 9 days ago. My roomate (hewotink) asked me to go to Commerce Casino this afternoon to play some holdem. I declined and went back to bed. (hewotink) then drove to the valley, and met up with my other friend at a Ralphs on Canoga and Devonshire. When they were in the parking lot meeting up my roomate hears an exhaust that sounds like my car. He looks over and see's my car driving right at him in the parking lot. The kid changed the back plate, but kept the front one the same, and changed my front wheels from the GSr's to black steelies, everything else was exactly the same. My roomate runs to his car and so does my other friend, the kid notices what is going on and bones out. They chase him through 3 red lights down devonshire through traffic, and he pulls over in my car and books it on foot. My roomate calls the cops, then me. I rush over as soon as i can with my keys. The cops are there when i show, and are searching the car. The car was full with 4 suitcases, full of clothes and shoes and other stuff, and there were road maps of Washington on the floor. The idiot kid also left his wallet with all his identification in it. Cops collected all his stuff and gave me back my car. Can you believe that ****??? its like a ******* movie plot. Anyways, my ignition is gone, my car doesn't VTEC, and it drives a little sluggish. I'll fix all these things in time, as for now. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again to Hewotink!!! he saved the day.
Doug
PS - thanks to everyone who was keeping their eyes out for my car. I really appreciate the support.

Damn dude sorry to hear bout that. Hopfully they won't damage it. Maybe they will be semi nice and do what they did to my 93 teg and just strip all the stuff off it and leave it at a 24 hour gas station. Sorry again man I know it sucks did you have comprehensive on it?

Sorry for your loss. I live in Simi Valley too so I'll be on the lookout for sure. It makes me nervous about leaving my integra out...I'm glad I have a garage.
I hope they find it...

i didn't have any security features on my car. I should have, just always chose to buy an engine mod or something else instead, i was stupid. I live in a safe community, didn't think it would happen. .... I had my brand new bag of golf clubs in the back as well, that i just bought, In my life, I work on my car, Play golf, and listen to music. My Car was stolen, my golf clubs were in back, and my endless collection of CD's were in the glove..... life sucks.
sorry for your loss. I know the feeling, since it's happened to me. Made me drop out of the honda sport for a year. But you just got to keep your head up, and start again eventually if it's a big part of your life
