THe 96-00 Civic LX sedan and the 96-00 CIvic DX,CX hatch Have a different final drive in the manual tranny. THe auto trannys i think have a different final drive, ill check tomorrow in my helms book, email me to remind me if ya want.

well I have a 96 honda civic LX and need a tranny and some guy has a 98 HB tranny for sale.. Just making sure it'll work before I pick it up...

thats the exact car i have. i would double check, lemme check my book tomorrow, but it should. and not to persuede you, but i bet ya could find a 5 speed? hehe.
