looks like you already have a nice car... but if you want the RHD jdm bling and having to shift with your left hand... then go for it...

I'm with xsists. You have a nice car.

I do like MR2's though.
I'd like to have one some day.

wow, I WOULD DEF GO WITH THE MR2...

think about how many dohc del sols there are around vs how many RHD mr2's there are...

then just find some shot mr2... switch the VIN's and tell the cop that pulls you over that u did the rhd converson on it.

you still got to get the mr2 through inspection and i hear thats not an easy task to make it legal. i wouldnt want to go through all of that unless i had another car to drive while it was getting certified.

Yea you might want to check into how difficult its gonna be to get the MR2 legalized here in Cali. It can be a pain in the ***, and you might end up with no car to drive sometimes while your going through the process.

thats a hard decision.... both cars are nice but like everyone else said, it all depends on how/if you can legalize the mr2.. that s what would make up my mind...

well i was thikning how it would work on changing vin tags instead of trying to make it perfectly legal.. i mean i want to do it legit.. but i also want to be able to drive it around for the mean while .. i have another car i have a 02 si hatch and a 97 crv "b20vtec + jrsc" in the works.. does any1 know how i can go by just swapping tags ? would i need to buy a mr2 from the junk? and reregister it.. i heard i would still need to get the car inspected by the chp still

Keep the del sol, RHD registering is a PAIN!!! and sometimes ya cant even register the car and ya just gotta resell it.

i like my flywheel im still in the stage of breakign in my clutch but the car seems weightless specially in the midrange... i kno alot of people are gonna say change out myflywheel if i go turbo.. but from the way it feels i think there should be more then enough weight on the flywheel to spool the turbo im planning to break 350 to the wheels at the most..mayeb 300 to the wheel i think i should be happy with that..

The guy selling the MR2 said not to ask him about the registering process. Did it ever occur to you that he might not have been able to register it and was forced to sell?

If your done with your project then go with another project. Every one has to move on to a new project sooner or later. I know i did (but i kept my first project also )
