ok ive got somewhat of a unque problem here...I bought a crx with a z6 in it and im swapping it into my 90 dx...everything seemed ok until we got to the vtec. Apprently after the previous owner wired everything up to the P28 he thought that the vtec wasnt engaging, so he wired the soleniod to a damn toggle switch...now my question how do I bypass this so that I can get stock performance out of this motor, I mean I dont wanna be flippin switches while I race down streets...can I simply buy a vtec controller? or should I just wire it like I should to do the ecu and see how it works, I need a little guidance please.

obd1 I belive...

 

run a wire from the VTEC solenoid to pin A4 on your ECU. then run the wire from the VTEC pressure switch to pin D3 and you're good to go.
