it just seems too cheap to be true. full-race, jimfab, and z10 are all over $350+.

Of course, but it's just a pretty substaintal price difference. I'm sure the 'better' companies aren't trying to rape people with their prices either. They have to compete with each other too...

I don't mind. My HASport mount kit doesn't come with a front mount. And I hacked off the front brackets anyways. And I intend to stay with a EF radiator, no mounts needed.

I'm not sure about buying something like that from eBay, what if it were to break? I'd rather pay the extra $ for a little peace of mind.

WOW that is cheap. I was looking to buy a full race bar but man these are cheap. I wonder about quality and the geometry too, but I'm sure they are copies of someone else's so it can't be that far off

unless your going to come with proof from buying them and testing them you should say they are junk. Everyone always talks crap about cheap parts. Same thing with the jdm craze. I'm sure if i was running 2.0 60s and then i put the bar on and ran 1.8s you guys would be buying these like crazy. But them I'm sure if it said skunk2 on it you would be buying them like crazy too. Everyone wants to jump on the band wagon of the big name company. Most of the time its all hear say about one product be inferior. Sounds like a good deal guys I'm going to buy one. If it has fitment issues no loss. I'll tell everyone if it fits good and helps with 60 ft time with no binding. I'm sure u will all still talk trash about it so oh well.

PS. <cartman voice> Your breaking my ***** kid-honda...your breaking my *****. </cartman voice>

this is not true with Full-Race...there traction bars are sick. they have been perfected....i'd go with FR traction bars

"basically, the FR bars are 5 times stronger than they need to be. keep in mind that a factor of safety is a multiplier applied to the calculated maximum stress to which a component will be subjected. Typically, for components whose failure could result in substantial financial loss, or serious injury or death, a safety factor of at least four (4) is used."

i dont think they have to worry about loss of life or anything even though i know they consider that when making products. I mean the bars are all for off road use only! But yeah Full race does kick *** and usually they have pretty good prices. I just think until these bars are tested we shouldn't be saying that its crap because of the price.

I wish i had seen these a few weeks ago.
I would bet that the suspension geometry is fine. The EFs had radius arms stock, so
as long as all the mounting points based off the factory points, they'll be ok.
The two bolt holes on the LCA are angled, so it kind of points the radius rod in the
correct direction (as long as the rod is bolted in the same manner as the stock one).

For the price, i would definatly be willing to take a chance and pick one of these up.
The construction and clearance look ok from the pictures.

The seem really nice, but the radius rod hole to bolt them on the LCA won't work

why won't it work? because it has only one bolt instead of two?

The maner this kit is made, the radius rod on the LCA will bend a lot

this is my kit exactly the same design as the JimFab

Hmmm i dont know about cheap priced cross members. A friend of mine had one made (looked very similar to the pic of the ebay one) and it actually broke on him about a week later. The driver side radius rod mounting point snapped and his driver side tire went back into the fender and pushed the fender way up against the door. He then messed up his door when he went to open it to see what the hell happened. After that incident, we both ordered jimfab units (i was about to have mine made too by the same guy, but luckily i waited). Supposedly it was made out of chromoly tubing and the guy fabricated roll cages and ****. So if any of u wanna risk fender and door damage (at the minimum) go for it. You are gonna spend the money (at least 350$) either way u look at it, so u might as well spend it now with jimfab, Z10 etc. and save the headache of busting up your car's body. I wonder how good the welding, hardware, etc. is on those cheapo ones???

If you get the chromly version you are forced to pay this ebay hack about $252 beause of his inflated shipping rate and "required" insurance. I would rather pay $100 more, so I have someone that will stand behind the product if problems arise.

after my delat cam comes in I'll be ordering one of the bay ones too. I look forward to hearing your review of the ebay one though. Main concern is it just bolting up correctly. I doubt it is going to break.
