i just did a swap with a 2000 h22a4 in a 96 accord and neither the accord pump or the prelude pump will work with the space i have. am i doing something wrong or do i need a different pump please help.

 

I am having the same problem. Putting 96 h22a in 99 accord. The accord line is not long enough, or shaped right. If you find the answer, please let me know.

 

you have to modify the line, half accord, half prelude, make it a true hybrid. thats what i did

 

ladies ladies ladies.......do not waste your money on getting the damn power steering line redone.....go to your local autoparts store that rents out tools. Tell them you want to rent the small pipe bender and a flare kit and bend it yourself. Will not cost you a penny. Hope this was helpful!

actually if you have both parts you wont need to spend money

 

you can use a 98+ h22 powersteering bracket with the accord pump...

how did you get past the problem of the ecu not letting you start your car without the correct key?

 

I havent reached the startup point yet, doing auto to manual conversion so still working on it. Also trying to find someone who will do the wiring. But since the 96 h22a was the year that the ecu didnt have the key immobilizer, i shouldnt have that problem.

 

i used a prelude ps hose in my 5th gen swap. also used the prelude bracket.
