Default Power Loss... 18 mpg... Accord 2.3L VTEC

Man, my 98 Honda Accord with the 2.3L VTEC feels like its taking a dump. More like its always fighting uphill on level ground.

Fuel mileage dropped to 18 city/ 24 hwy. I dropped some new plugs in and checked the old ones. Looks fine. No oil consumption. Changed the filter/oil.... usual maintanance stuff. I mean it runs good, just won't get up and go. Struggles and struggles.

No check engine light. But I'm thinking the cat may be getting clogged. Someone I know on my Jeep forum suggested it may be the fuel mapping. I never have to work on this car so I'm not real familiar with problems that commonly arrise. It does have an undercarriage rattle when I start it up and shut it down. Ideas??

How can check the cat to see if its the culprit without replacing it??

Possibly an o2 sensor is going and or the cat.

What are your recent emissions?
