to put either a obd2 itr swap or an obd2 gsr swap into a 94 ls what do i need to do and what do i need to buy.. help me out guys and i will have a surprise for all when my project is done

you have to make a choice on this first...

 

i just did the same exact swap 98 gsr intoa 94 ls i just started it today and i threw what i beleif is a code 21 but anyway... everything pluged right in and i was told i would need a distributer but like i said with the 98 obd2 distributer i had my car running today. your going to need either a 98-01 exaust or a 94-97 header because in 98 they made the header shorterand there is a 3 inch gap between the header flange and the cat. your also gonna need a gsr throttle cabler.the biggest problem i ran into was with the evap the blach canister that sits up against the fire wall on the passager side because the changed that too but i think you might be able to fix it just getting a 94-97 thopttle body. but listen ill keep u updated on how my swap goes i hope to finish it and take it around my block by friday. if u find out any thingmore let me know cuz the more help i get the better thanks.
