Default a little bit of dirt on rockford decks. LOL

the rockford decks (until very recently) were made by AC Delco. lol, the same people who make stock chevy decks. lol. no wonder they sound like ****. just another reason i hate rockford.

Only thing I would buy of Rockford Fosgate would be there subs and amps.

Funny - dave navone has said in the past that some of the Chevy headunits were some of the best ever for SQ if you just add a LOC...

where did you get that info - I'm interested to read more

I owned a rockford deck rpx81 something ( I have the face and body somewhere
around here...I always find one or the other as I rummage for things )
Anyway...its listed on the body of the radio on the tag...its looks like
the same test tag that is on a typical GM radio. Dont knock Delco...they
are just an electronics maker who main funding is from Generic Motors.
Not unlike Delphi or Vestion.

might want to re-think that - the last few headunits were made by Denon - yummm

Denon. yes there were... i had one. it's the _only_ RF product that would be allowed in my vehicles...
also, some of the RF head units were made by Fujitsu Ten ( eclipse )
currently, im using a McIntosh, and also one of my old favorites, a Sony CDX C90. ( from when Sony made good stuff )
yes, i've owned about all the multi bit DAC decks out there.
