Default B16 mounts...

just a quick question.. are there any honda mounts that would fit the B16 into the ef.. just the top one buy the timing belt?

Sure, the stock b16a mount will work if you bend the crap outta the car or shave the mount down a little, or just buy the aftermarket mounts. I have a set of old school HASports I will let go for cheap with brand new black urethane.

i dont need mounts.. i was just wndering what stock mount will work with out messing with it

you cannot use any combination of stock mounts in a USDM chassis. I'm sure you could come up with some combination that you culd physically bolt the engine in, but they would not align the engine anywhere near properly. it would most likely sit at an angle as well as the foward/backward tilt would be off.

buckle down and buy a mount kit.

the SiR chassis has a different sub frame than the USDM d series civics/crx, so this is why the mounts arent interchangeable.

heres the deal.. i took my HCP mounts out of my car.. teh bottom 2 mounts look like HCP mounts.. the top one by the timing cover looks like a stock honda mount. i was just wondering if tehre is a mount that would fit there..

no stock honda mount will drop it, why do you think everyone buy aftermarket mounts when tehy do a B-series swap.
