Default Is this a good price for a 95 GS-R?

The car I am looking at is a paradise green 95 GS-R.

75,000 miles
Front strut bar
Rear strut bar
Trunk bar (like Type-R style trunk)
Lower tie bar
Comptech lowering springs
Factory fat fives with Kuhmo Supra Ecsta 712's
Axxis brake pads

He has a price of $7k in mind and I am curious to see if I should try to talk him down any. Thanks!

Well considering people in this thread are saying that guy can get 6k for his 94 GSR with 130k miles, I think 7k is a hell of a deal for 75k miles.

The KBB seems to be $5200. If he's asking 7 I say try and go for 6. Only 75000 miles though is still a hell of a deal.

I think 7k is a fair price unless the condition of the car itself sucks.

If the body looks good and it's running strong i'd say go for it.

kbb isn't very accurate as far as getting an actual loan value. Try http://www.nadaguides.com

Thanks for the replies so far.

I think 5900 is a little low considering the mileage, but I think I will definitly entertain the idea of offering him less to see if he goes for it. He's going to be ditching his car in favor of an S2000 so when he does, I might have a tempting offer for him.

not bad place to start, build a head, get some decent rims/tires, and get some front racing seats, you can live without rears for now

is it love at first sight? if so then id consider paying a little more just so it wouldnt get away, but only if it had never been in a wreck, in very good condition and if it was well maintained and they have proof....sorry, thats what happened to me.....i fell in love! sounds like an alright deal to me though w/low miles like that!

It's in pretty good shape.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the car is the lead sales guy's personal car at the Honda dealership. He's like 50 years old and he's been autoxing for years so he takes care of his cars. The only reason he's selling it is because he's trading up to an S2000. I've got first dibs before anybody else but he hasn't actually put the car on the market yet.
