new to the board
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I have a black '01 itr #616. The car is mostly stock, excluding the rims and springs. The rims are SSR competitions, 17x8, and the springs are Ground Control coil overs with rates of 500 in the front and 450 in the rear. So far I blew the engine at an open track day at Willow Springs, big track (2.5 miles), with only 9k on the engine. I was lucky enough to get in 10 laps before I spun a bearing. Acura paid for parts but I had to pay labor. I'm in the San Diego area, so if any of you guys see me be sure to give me the finger or something. I try to auto-x on a regular basis and try to do track days. If anyone is interested in going to Willow on the 23rd of January, let me know and I'll e-mail you the info. I plan on attending.
