Ok well i think my 3rd gear syncro is gone again, its went only once before like 2 years ago, i don't really rip my car all that often for the last 2 years so i don't know why it went. But anyways it seems that it grinds when i shift anywhere over 4000rpms but still lets me into 3rd, when it went the first time it was grinding then popping out of gear over 4000rpms, but its not as bad this time. I changed to syncromesh tranny fluid and it almost seemed to make it a bit worse or not help at all??? Is there any additives or anything i can check/try before i take it to a tranny shop for a syncro? And how much do you think it would cost for a replaced syncro in canadian dollars. I know the part is not much but im wondering more about how many hours it takes for labour. Thanks in advance.

 

yea i think i MIGHT have the same problem but mine has never popped out.....im gonna get some syncromesh and see if that works....but i hope someone here has some advice....il keep checkin
