Default $4200 Fair?

Is $4200 for a 95 Integra Special Edition 5sp, with 137k power everything, leather, black on black, and all. And clean with minor knicks and scratches for an older car is a good deal. I really wasnt lookin to spend more than 4 on an integra alsoAlso it was female driven. Let me know. but it is clean though and i havent seen any other integras goin that low unless it needed a work. he wouldnt even take 4k even.

First, just because it was female driven doesn't mean its a good car or deal. Traditionally females (not all of you, i know there is some on board, so don't jump on my sac) don't really have much of a clue about cars and maintenance. Which would lead to lack of maintenance, poor condition, etc. So, don't just think because a girl drove it, its a good deal. I've seen a ton of females with a heavy foot and I've been in cars that females drove that haven't had their oil changed in 8,000 miles.

So, please don't make it the reason why your choosing this car.

Also, money talks. Bring her 3,800 and see if she can turn down the bills. If she won't just carry the extra with you if you really want it.

Its tough to tell you without pics and maintenance records if its worth it. A compression/leakdown test wouldnt hurt.....

your question is, is it fair. The answer is yes, it's a fair price for a good condition teg with average miles, great color inside/out.
You could probably find one cheaper if you keep looking or are willing to drive over 900 miles round trip ( like I just did to VA with a friend for his gsr from a fellow HT member). But you are not guaranteed to find one better or cheaper.
Take it for a long test drive on the highway and local streets, check all the electricals, run a carfax, and look for rust. If this all checks out; don't lowball the guy, 137,000 miles is not so much for a teg. Ask him to fill up the tank, give him his money, and enjoy you nice black on black teg

about the woman comments above..........unfortunately it's true, all the chicks I know drive like maniacs without the seatbelts, and their cars are neglected
maybe I need to meet more responsible women

the car id clean, has a half take of gas and there is no rust anywhere, not even by the fenders. I asked the guy how about 3800 or an even 4k but he said no. It was worth it though. I'm actually gonna get the car, i was gonna get it today but the guy wants cash so i have to get it tomorrow.

Cool, car sounds really good, looks like you'll be happy with it, hope there aren't any unforseen problems.
Good luck with the car, and introduce it to us once you get it....you have a digital camera right
Since you are giving him his asking price he should at least give you a full tank of gas.......cheap bastard
