Default Is Motul Gear 300 too light for my daily driver ITR?

I want to change it up a bit next transmission fluid drain and fill. Honda MTF is shear happy and I'm looking for a quality and proven alternative that completely compatable with USDM ITR trannys. I was think along the lines of Motul Gear 300...what do you guys think?

I tried 300 in my b16 powerd CRX and it was a bit loud and i could hear a grind in 3rd. I switched back to Honda mtf and did not have any more problems. Just FYI .. I have no clue which is better..
