Mugen head gasket
It's a relatively inexpensive way to boost your compression slightly. Whether or not it's "worth it" depends on if you're doing the labor yourself or paying someone else. Also, everyone's opinion of what something is worth is different, so you'll have to decide that for yourself. That being said, I can't think of any less expensive ways to bump the compression the approximate 0.3:1 that both gaskets will provide on a B18C, assuming you aren't paying for labor.
You could also have your head milled for about $30-40 if your going to have head off anyway for the gasket this could be a viable, even more affordable option. Plus you can still use your OEM gasket and trust it's sealing ability.
It depends on the pistons and the block. The valve reliefs in your pistons will play a role as will your piston to deck clearence.
Typically .020 of any head that is on any OEM block with OEM pistons will have clearence with cams that don't lift beyond 12mm. This is a very general guideline still always best to clay for clearence.

Make your own, just remove the rivets that hold the gasket layers together and remove the top layer then lightly copper spray the remaining 2 and install. I have done this many times. I have also owned 4 mugens in my time.
