Ive been looking at hatches for the past 3 weeks. The price for a nice clean and almost perfect Si hatch is about $3500-4500. A pretty nice one is anywhere from $2500-3500. Anything less than $2500 and its a piece of **** IMO. They are usually dented, two different colors, or really ghetto looking.
It depends on your location. Some places they are more demanding. In Tennessee they run around 2500 for stock in good condition. Same with a CRX.
I have been looking for a crx for 3 months and every one I have found to be in decent condition(and thats with the rust starting above the rear wheels) were starting at 2900. and going up all the way 6500 for ones with no rust. (si). If you are looking for a si model civic , around here they go for 2500 to 4grand for one in good shape.
I paid $2800 for a Tahitian Green  91 Si about a month ago . One owner and 65K , she was asking $3600 for it but the battery check light was coming on at low revs ( diode problem ? ) so I talked her down - still haven't got around to seeing WTF is up yet ... There seem to be a bunch more Si's here in New England than elsewhere . I actually had to shop around for the black 91 I had in college in NC but I've seen a few in town - same thing with SE-R's . Two days after I bought the Si a Sentra cam up for $2k but I don't need 3 cars
I have seen 1,000-7,000 here in PA. The sad thing is the one I saw for 7,000 was a piece of crap. Im looking for a CRX myself and looking to spend about 3,000 for one in pretty good shape
I got my 91 Si Black <rare> PRISTINE interior and jsut rock chips on the hood and 2-3 SMALL door dings for $3800. That was 3 years ago too. Bone stock, new CD player, and 158k miles
I blew the motor in 2 months! Woohoo!
16.1 BONE stock.

Saw some Si's when I was buying for anywhere from $2,000 for high mileage all the way up to $3,500 for low mileage, great condition '91's.

California Prices are much Higher
Expect to pay close to 5k For a perfect Rex or Hatch & when the new car ads come out you better be calling everyone at 6am askin about that car for sale otherwise its gone....
In other areas of the country expect to pay between 2500-4000
Ive seen people selling 90-91 Sedans for 7k in my recent searches for cars...
